POLICE COURT.
THURSDAY, MARCH 12.
(Before, W. Gunn, Esq, P.M.)
Garden Robbery.—George Rowley, charged
on the information of William Mackrill with
stealing apples in the garden of complainant,
was discharged, Mackrill not wishing to
prosecute.
FRIDAY, MARCH 13.
(Before W. Gunn, Esq., P. M., and A.F. J.
Bowen, Esq, J.P.)
Assault.—Robert Lewis v. Daniel Grant
Defendant pleaded guilty, and was fined 20s,
and costs, 9s 6d; in default, fourteen days'
hard labor.
Threatening.—Mary Ann Dee v. Ann
Price—Case dismissed on its merits.
Sureties.—Margaret Dooley v. James
Dooley—Defendant was discharged on
promising future good behavior.
Permission to sell Liquors.—Joseph
Dyson was granted permission to continue to
sell liquors until next quarterly licensing me t-
ing under the license held by Moses Julius
Solomon, at the Shakespeare Hotel.
