Protrasuie for Thmity.
Owing to Good Friday falling- this week, the
weekly programme presented .by Ben Martin in
the Unity Stadium will be held on Thursday
eveninr, when a 10-round bout for the light
weight championship between Kid Keid and
Jack Cullen will be supported by a. six-round
and four four-round bouts. Kid Reid, who will
be officially weighed during the interval on the
night of the fight, has proved himself a solid
bitter, and there are indications that he may
develop into a fighter of the style of Jack Den
cis. Cullen, who recently von the lightweight
championship after an exciting? fight with Ted
Cardew, is in the best of condition, and., fit to
defend his title against all' comers. Reid is
from Maylanda. and Cullen from Subiaco. In
the six-round bout Kid McClure will meet Jack
Lynch. Over four rounds, Jack Molloy and Don
Walsh, the East Perth footballer; Les Darcy
acd Micky Wells; Ray Butcher and Joe Blake,
and Young Rimmer and Jim Owens 'will meet.
