FIRE AT FREMANTLE.
? Last night the Fremantle Fire Brigade
was called to a four-roomed weatherboard
.house, occupied- by Ernest Gibson, at 68
Mnrmion-strept- Fremantle. When ihp fire
engine arrived, it waf found that the
dwelling was well alight and, although
there -was a good water pressure, the
house was badly damaged and the con
tents totally destroyed. The building,
which was owned by Mrs; H. Pearse, was
insured. The cause of the outbreak -is un
known.' , . -
Severe daniage was also done to the
neighbouring dwelling, occupied by Arthur
Toms.
