KNITTING AND CROOIET.

In each of the following six sections of
'The Western Mail' knitting and crochet
composition a prize of £5 is offered for
the best exhibit. ' .
(a) Women's knitted bathers. ?'.
(b) Men's knitted bathers.
(c) Knitted bathers, for child under 10.
(d) Baby's crochet eet. to include boot-'
ees, bonnet, jacket and Test. -
(e) Three doyleys, all crochet.
(f ) Crochet-trimmed tray doth, outside
inished measurement not to exceed 28in.

Only wool must be used for the knitted
bathers, and competitors must declare that
the work is done by hand and not on a
knitting machine. Wool, silk or artificial
silk may be used for the baby's aet at the
discretion of competitors. Doyleys and tray
cloths must not be washed. Exhibits, ad
dressed to the Editor of 'The Western
Mail,' must be sent in not later than De
cember 10. Full particulars, including the
points on which the work will be judged.
