Final Gallops.'
Kilreid Goes Well.
It was fine but dull' at headquarters yester
day morning when quite a number -of interested'
sportsmen, were present to witness the final gal
lops on the course proper' of horses enmi-«i in
tne narralMtta I'late, Derby, Railway Stakes and
Cup.- The Bags were out 35ft. 'and the track
was. in nice order. Tli'is'was proved by KiJreid's
excellent trial over six furlongs.
Dawn of Youth (Willis) who commenced
slowly gathered speed as he weut along, the
rouud occupying 2.18,, the last-. nine furlongs tak
ing 2.2..'; Finishing on 'in great style be put past
the final, half-mile in OOjscc.: which was an jbx
collent try-out for a Derby candidate. J. -Ctirry

Indian Sage '(McClure) .was pot troubled toTgo
six furlongs in 1.20. He cantered once round
after his gallop. He looks in * good condition
Karagan (Simmons) was restricted to even time'
Arapuni (D. Miller) on the outside and CooN
barro (Morley) were associated for seven fur
longs. They ran the first three furlongs ? in
40sec, four furlongs in 5 3 see. and the full djs
tanc? in 1.t}i 2-5. Both were on terms at the

Arimond (Sallur) with the inside running was
going very easily alongside Cerimon at th-? cbn
clusion of a round in 2.21. the final half-mile
taking 53 l-5sec. Furza (J. Armanasco) ran
six furlongs easily in. 1.10, the last half injlc
taking 53 2-Dsec.
Excecdor (Hunter) completed a round in 2.20.
He moved freely for the 'final six furlongs ;in
1.19. Flying Miss (D. Miller) bru8hed up for
two furlongs in 25sec. She moved in attrac
tive style, and is a Railway Stakes possibility.
Orewa (Dooley) with the outside berth was
hard held to keep with Tione (Barden) fora
three furlong sprint in 30sec. Coolah (Purvis)
had lots to spare for five furlongs in 1.9 finish
ing up the hill.
^Pica Pica (Raeffe')c) moycd'well for nine fur
longs in 2.8J, the last 'half-mile being ca-t
astern in 54ecc. Stunsail (Davies) waa on the
bit for four furlongs in 57sec. Spoony. (Fergu-'
