-pression during the week, arising from the
accounts brought by the Currency Lass
aid Marian Watson. Several purchases
'have'been made at 7s. Gd. and 8s. ; and
we hear of snme inconsiderable sa!es being
effected by the agents from Sydney, for
that.markct, at 9s., and exceeding; it. The
reported sudden ftll of wheat in the Sydney
'Colony, and the eagerness, evident in the
Sbuyere-for-:that place- to pick it -up, where
it offered, at previous high prices, induced
our holders, nmostly to await the event of
