Germany's Decision.
To Seek Admission.
Horlin Snnl 03
It was announced officially to-dsy that
Germany would endeavour shortfy to
enter the League of Nations on the' foot-
ins of a bis Power.
The announcement was made after a
meeting of the Cabinet, which was pre
sided over by President Ebcrt. It was
mentioned that the decision on the sub
ject was unanimous, and that tbe Gov
ernment's standpoint, was prompted by
the consideration that the questions dealt
with by the League (especially the pro
tection of minorities, the regulation of
conditions in the Sarre territory, general
disarmament, the carrying out of mili
tary control, and the safety and peaceful
co-operation of the nations) could lie
solved satisfactorily only with Germany's
collaboration, which could, of course, 'be
only that of a great Power on nn equal
footing with other nations. — Reuter.
