WM. M. SMITH.—We can only publish your
letter in the form of an advertisement. It is
quite a private communication.
F.G B. P.—Your letter is not of sufficient
general interest for us to pabtisb, especially as
the contribution on which it is based did not
appear in this paper.
Komi AfiTRAi-iAir's letter comments on the
case of a prisoner who now awaits her trial at
the Supreme Court. Under these circumstances
we cannot publish the remarks of our corre
spctdent, who will ?cc that it would be very
unfair to do so.
A. M.—The present Lord Major of London
visited Adelaide some time ago.
Ali-ha.—The last detachment of British
troops left Adelaide on Augtut 17,1870.
V. J.—The funeral of Sir Dominie Daly took
place on February 82.1808. The cortege passed
from the Koman Catholic Cathedral, Wakefield
strcet, along Grotxsstreet to West-ternae,
thence on to the Hilton-read, and thus to the
Cemetery.
W. Washau.—lt is contrary to our rule to
publish a letter commenting upon a court case
in the way yours doea.
B.S. X.—Thanks for later, bat it arrived
