Damages Suit Is
Rejected By Jury
SYDNEY, Monday.
A Supreme Court jury to-day
rejected a 'claim for £10,000 dam-
ages against Hungarian - born
Charles Kropacsy, 72, who was
accused of alienating' from her
husband the affections of Fran-
ces Hunter, 48.
Harry Robert Hunter, 48, of
Bondi, alleged that Kropacsy,
who is co-inventor of the Eugene
permanent hair wave, enticed
Mrs. Hunter to live witli him at
Cottage Point.
Kropacsy and Mrs. Hunter
shook hands warmly when the
jury found in Kropacsy's favour.
Hunter left the court quickly. He
will have to pay costs, which are
expected to exceed £1,000.
Mr. Justice Dwyer said it
should be made perfectly clear
there . 'was no suggestion that
Kropacsy had set himself out to
have an immoral relationship
with Mrs. Hunter.
Mrs. Hunter had testified that
she disliked her husband because,
"of- his association with his for-
mer private secretary (Miss
Neale);. ' '
'?The'jury could consider whe-
ther it was Kropacsy or Misa
Neale: who had broken up the
Hunter home.
The hearing lasted ¡five days.
