in Colombo on the 14th inst. Common and
medium brokens were irregular. -in price
and tuppy broken Orange Pekoes were in

butchers. Country bayers also 'operated,' and

Sheep: 4.317 yarded, being about 4.00 -less
than agents anticipated.. owing to the non.
arrival of the; s.s; Kwinana. The shseen. from
this ves?el are now being sold at Robb's Jetty
on Monday next. The yarding oonsisted of
1,000 nice quaLit, wethbrs from the Carnarron
district, ex s.s. Minderoo. The balance of the
offering was. drawn from agricultural districts
and Soeth-West areas. and included some nine
quality wethers. The quality was much better
than.the.preceding week. The market opened
showing an advanoe of about 3s. per head'on
