Two Killed In
Fire Engine
Crash In N.Z.
AUCKLAND. Fri. (A.A.P.
Reuler). - Two firemen were
killed and four others injured
when a fire engine from an Auck-
land suburban station capsized at
an intersection late tonight.
The capsize occurred after the
engine hit a telegraph pole. It.
bounced from the gutter and spun
round 20 yards from the pole.
Those killed were: First-Class
Fireman Albert Clark (50), married,
with four children; and First-Class
Fireman George Leonard Oliver (22).

The only member of the crew of
seven who was not taken to hospital
was the officer in charge.
