PRiEMIER REPLIES TO
QUESTIONS.
London, February 20.
Sir Henry Campbell-Baunerman, re
plying to questions in the House of
Commons yesterday, said that the Alge
ciras Conlfcrence was proceeding slowly
but satisfactorily, and that the Anglo
French understanding was as strongly
entrenched as ever.
Personally the Premier favoured a
continuity of policy in regard to
Colonial affairs, since there should be
no wanton change for the sake of
change.
