DENMARK CHEESE FACTORY.
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—I read with muc-h interest the let
tcr in your issue of Monday last ove
the nom de plume of "Groupie," in regare
to.our local, cheese factorv, and While 'en
dorsjng his remarks nnd suggestions J
tHfck that he must reside in close pro*
imitv to some of the groups mentioned by
him. , He, to my mind, is a little on th-
selCsh side, as regards gronns to be sey
yed bv his proposed new motor trucks, foi
in my opinion he might have ine.ader
groups 101 and 111, where there are 2f
settlers on the former and 10 on the latter,
most of whom are producing milk an<"
are unable to dispose of it, thus the valuable
commodity- is wasted. I thin'
"Groupie" must have overlooked the two
groups "mentioned or, otherwise he must
have been thinking of hia, friends net.- hv
I, too, think, that it would be n hie se
back to the -Denmark district ,if anything
happened to the cheese factory, as there
is no. doubt that it is doing good work ii
cheese making, as well as giving £?eat assistance
to many of the group settlor?
who are fortunate enough to have the?
milk carted to the factory. Hoping tha
vour correspondent, "Groupie," will mak'
further sueggstions for the improvemen''
and assitsance of the group settlers as r
-whole.—-Yours, etc.,
ANOTHER GROUPIE.
