OBITUARY
MISS H. GRINDLEY.
After a lengthy illness, the death oc-
curred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.
A. Gosman, Alfred Road, Burwood, Vic-
toria, on Saturday morning of Miss H.
Grindley, of Camberwell, Victoria.
Mr. and Mrs. Gosman were former
residents of Queenstown, and as a fre-
quent visitor to them Miss Grindley
made a large circle of friends in the
Lyell district, where she was well known
and respected.

Tho death occurred at South Queens-
town on Friday of Mrs. Annie Elizabeth
Anderson, wife of Mr. W. Anderson, at
the age ot 41 years. ? She was the
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bland,
of Victoria, und leaves a family of
eight children.
The funeral took place ut the South
Queenstown cemetery on Saturday af-
ternoon, the chief mourners being Mr.
W. Anderson (husband) und two sons
(Messrs, Wilbur and Ernest Anderson).
The pall-bearers wore Messrs. F. Wulsh,
A. Masefield, ll. Miller, and C. Drake.
