COAL-BAN THREAT

The Premier (Rlr Hollway) will refer to the i
Trades Hall Council the letter from the Victorian
secretary of the Seamen's Union (Mr W. Bird) :
threatening a ban on all ships bringing coal to |
victoria unless the Essential Services Act is i
repealed!
Mr Hollway said today that
1 the Government was not In the
habit of dealing with individual
unions, but with the properly-
constituted union authority, the
Trades Hall Council.. ,
