SYDNEY, 15th July.
Tho Government liavo suspended Messrs-
Lynch and Clarke, gold commissioners at

decision in dealing with tho rioters.

wero driven off after a desperate conflict with
tho diggers.
Tho authorities liavo returned to Yass to
wait for reinforcements. A great many
wounded on both Eides, but no deaths as yet
known.
Troops to he sent again.
