Military Sports Meeting
The principal- fixture for tomorrow Is the

time-in '.the year for a trach meeting, as many,
will not. be -in training, and- it is hnoed -that
in futuro it w!U be possible to arrange the
fixture for earlier in the rear.
Entries have been limited in the case of
events . for the Citizen Forces , to one represen
tative, from each unit, and for cadets to- two
nominees from each battalion. In almost every
case the maximum entry has. been received, eo
that the programme will be a very heavy one,
A- commencement will be made with heats of
the 100 yards championship at 1.13 p.m., and
the meeting should terminate at 4.40 p.m.
Other fixtures for tomorrow are an follow:
East Melbourne at - lv.inhoe, concluding with
handicapped run-in of 860 -yards; St. Stephen's
paper-chafe and social evening at Mcntoue: Kb-
eendon. V.M.O.A., Hawthorn, Carlton and North
Richmond, at Glenhuntly; Collitigwood, at Mart
bvrnong; Malvern and 8L James, at Ivanhoe;
Melbourne, at Brighton Beach; and Glenhuntly.
at Burwood.

mU and StouUlng Committee of the Victorian
Mhiptlc Awiociation, held at the Ama
teur Sports Club this week, Mr W< II. S. Dick-
inson was elected Chairman ni») Mr U. Clcmson
