Laurie Taylor, former South

who played 18 gRmes with Rich
mond, has been appointed
playing - coach or corowa
(NSW) Football Club.
Taylor, who played seven
games with Richmond in 1944
and 11 last season, was selected
;from 17 applicants. He will
receive £12 a week and a job.
| Corowa have been endeavor-
ling to secure a coach since be-
jfore Christmas. Among out
standing players to whom they
| offered large sums were Dyer
(Richmond). Buttsworth (Es-
sendonl, McGrath (Melbourne)
