NAVAL FORCES OF THE COMMONWEALTH.
HIS Excellency the Administrator of the Government of
the Commonwealth in Council has approved of the
following changes being made:—
NAVAL BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION.
Appointments.—Captain Henry Arthur Showers is appointed
Second Naval Member of the Naval Btoard of Administration
with the rank of Commodore Second Class, as froin 15th
October, 1944, with an allowance at the rate of Ten shillings
per diem, whilst holding that rank, in addition to his emolu
ments as Captain; Acting Rear-Admiral George Dunbar Moore,
C.B.E., Naval Officer-in-Charge, Sydney, is appointed Acting
Second Naval Member of the Naval Board of Administration
for the period 13tli September, 1944, to 14th October, 1944,
inclusive.
Termination of Appointment.—The appointment of Com
modore Second Clause George Dunibar Moore, C.B.E., as Second
Naval Member of the Naval Board of Administration is
terminated, dated 12th September, 1944.
PERMANENT NAVAL FORCES OF THE COMMONWEALTH
(SEA-GOING FORCES).
Appointment.—Commodore Second Class George Dunbar
Moore, C.B.E., is appointed Acting Rear-Admiral, as Naval
Officer-in-Charge, Sydney, to date 13th September, 1944, with
Table Money at the rate of One pound two shillings per
diem and such other allowances as are prescribed in the
Naval Financial Regulations as from 15th October, 1944.—
