AUTHORITY TO ENTER UPON At*©1 US# LANDS
FOR TRAINING IN THE VICINITY OF HEIDEL
BERG, VICTORIA^ BETWEEN TE*E 2oth TtJLY
AND THE 2ND SEPTEMBER, 1912.
"flTIS Excellency- the Governor-General, acting, with the
■ff ff advice of the Federal Executive-Council, has been
pleased to approve, under the powers confferred by section
69 of the Defence Act 190311911, of- the Commonwealth
Military Forces being authorized, to enters upon, and use
fbr training, manoeuvres, or other: military exercises or
purposes, all those lands in* the State of> Victoria, en
closed within the following boundaries :—
Commencing at Thornbury station; thence north
along. Fitzroy^ and Whittiesea railway to Thomastown;
thence by a line due east to the Plenty River; thence
along the Plenty and Yarra Rivers to Banksia-street,
Heidelberg-; thence due" west" to Tlrornlyuf}-* station^
and that the owners or occupiers of any such land who
claim that they have sustained any damage or loss by
reason of such entry or use, be required to submit their
claims^ for. such' damage or loss to the Commandant, 3rd
Military District, Victoria Barracks, Melbourne, within
forty-eight'horns-of such entry or use. Such-claims will
be submitted to a Boaxd of three officers, and compensa
tion as approved may be paid to. the said owneis or
occupiers.
