SEABROOK.
With this issue we publish a double page plan of the Sea-
brook Estate, which is now subdivided into blocks from five
acres and upwards. Seabrook is situated on the York road,
about four miles from Northam (the garden of WeBtern Aus-
tralia), and 60 miles from Perth, and the (Joolgardie Railway
passes through Northam The land is splendidly adapted for
horticultural, viticultnral. and dairy farming, and should be
speedily taken up by men who have a little money ; the terms
are liberal and the price reasonable. There is a grand market
for all the products from off the soil, as at present not one-
third of what is consumed is grown in the colony ; and at the
rate the population is now increasing there will be a good
market for years to come. The goldfields alone consumes
about one-eighth of what the colony produces. This magni
ficent estate should become a beautiful spot, prolific with
precious fruits. There is no healthier occupation for man to
give himself to, or bring his family up in, than cultivation of
the soil ; and it is our opinion that every acre of Seabrook
will be under the plough and spade within a very short time.
