The final match for the v.J.F.A.
premiership was played at Preston on
Saturday before a Urge attendance, and
a real good game was witnessed, tbe re
sult being— Preston, 5 goals 12 behinds
(42 points) ; Blenheim, 3 goals 6 behinds
(24 pomU).
Tbe runners up, tbe Blenheim F.C.—
who performed very well for their first
year in this association — wish to deny a
statement that they are the resurrected
ashes of tbo Montague F.O., which was
disqualified by tbe Y.J.F.A. last season.
They are in no way connected with that
club.
