EUROPEAN NEWS BY CABLE

LONDON, April 27.
After the removal of Mr. Bradlaugh
in custody from the liody of tbe cham
ber last night, on the adjournment of
the House that gentleman was per-
mitted to go at large.
On the House of Commons assem
bling this afternoon, however, he again
presented himself, and re-entered, de
manding to be allowed to take the oath.
TTfo removal was at once ordered by
the Speaker, npon which a long debate
ensued, in which several of the most
prominent members on both sides of
the House took part. Eventually Mr.
Bradlaugh voluntarily withdrew, on bis
colleague, Mr. Heniy Labouchere, giving
formal notice of bis intention, to intro
duce a bill, the object of which would
be to permit Mr. Bradlaugh to take the
customary oath.
The total arrivals of wools to date,
for sales commencing next month,
amount to 360,000 bales.
The total probable quantity to be
offered, including 29,000 bales held over
from the last series, amounts to 360,000
bales, to which the number has been re
stricted by the Importers' Committee.
The Governmenthave intimated that
every facility will be afforded to Mr.
Labouchere for the passage of the bill
he has announced his intention to intro
duce, by which Mr. Bradlaugh will he
permitted to take the oath.
PARIS, April 27.
Farther intelligence received to-day
states that a body of troops which was
detached from the main division now in
Tunisian territory, advanced upon the
town of Al Ejeff, which place they have
now occupied without meeting with
any opposition.
PARIS, April 28.
The latest intelligence from the
French forces in Tunis reports , that
since crossing the frontier they have
continued to advance daily in the direc-
ton of the capital
They have encountered strong resis
tance at the hands of a lajge body of
Kronnirs, or native' troops,' with -whom
a serious engagement took place, result
ing in some losses on either side.
