THE FEDERAL ELECTIONS
THE NOMINATIONS.
Nominations for : tlie Federal elections,
Senate and House of Representatives, were
received on Wednesday at noon. The
Commonwealth Returning-Officer (Mr. O.
H. Schomburgk) declared the Senate nomi
nations, and those for the House of Repre
sentatives jvere lodged with the returnmg
ofticers for the several divisions. The At
torney-General (Hon, Pf -McM-.~ Glynn) has
been returned unopposed for : Angas divi
sion. The following are the-■nominations
