authenticated by the name and address of the
sender, and are inserted at a charge of Two
Shillings and Sixpence each when not ex-

MARRIAGES.
COSGROVE—WOOD.—On the 28th March, by
Pastor A. G. Rankine, Albert Victor Cosgrove, of
Magill, to Elsie Lucretia, youngest daughter of
J. W. Wood, Shipsters-road, Kensington Park.
GILLETT—BRITTEN.—On the 16th April, at
Claremont, W.A., at the Anglican Church, by
Canon Lefroy, William Lyall, eldest son of Thos.
Gillett, Mount Gambier, to Minnie Pauline, third
daughter of W. Britten, Port Augusta.
WATSON—MUNRO.—On the 25th April, at the
residence of the bride's parents, by Rev. William
Gray, Hurtle Marshall, eldest son of Joseph Mar-
shall Watson, of Albert Park, Woodville, to Eliza-
beth Agnes (Bessie), fourth daughter of George
Munro, Baroota, late of Port Pirie. Present ad-
dress, Princes-street, Alberton.
GOLDEN WEDDING.
JOSE—CHIVELL.—On the 22nd May 1856, at
Trinity Church, Adelaide, by Rev. James Farrell,
M.A., William Jose, of Edwardstown, South-road,
to Mary Jane Chivell, of Plympton. Present ad-
dress—Moseley-street, Glenelg.
DEATHS.
THOM.—On the 21st May, at his residence, Glen
Osmond-road, Frewville, John, beloved husband of
Agnes Thom, late of Cameron, aged 66 years. At
rest.
RUSS.—On the 27th April, at Wallaroo Mines,
Lionel Joseph, the dearly beloved infant son of W.
and S. Russ, aged 7 weeks. We loved thee well,
but Jesus loved thee best. R.I.P. Western Aus-

RIDGWAY.—On the 16th May, at Lincoln Park,
Port Lincoln, Iris Rose, dearly loved eldest daugh-
ter of C. F. W. and S. J. Ridgway, aged 10
years and 9 months. Thy will be done.
BRITTAIN.—On the 14th May, at Wallaroo,
Flora Edith, the beloved daughter of S. and the
late Robert Brittain, Port Pirie. Sweet rest.
GOLDSMITH.—On the 2nd May, at the Yorke-
town Hospital, of heart failure, Agnes C., wife of
W. Goldsmith, Corney Point, and second daughter
of M. and the late J. Cousin, Bute.
RYMILL.—On the 14th May, near Hamilton, Vic-
toria, as the result of an accident, Robert Rymill,
of Penola Station, South Australia, eldest son of
Frank Rymill, Springfield, Mitcham, aged 36.
GILES.—On the 18th May, at Grey Court, Ade-
laide, Florance Mary May, the beloved wife of
George Frederick Giles, aged 28 years.
CARTER.—On the 13th May, at the Broken Hill
Hospital, of typhoid fever, William Arthur, be-
loved husband of L. Carter, and third son of R.
and E. Carter, 119, Gilles-street, Adelaide, aged 21
years.
PHILLIPS.—On the 21st May, at the private
hospital, Adelaide, Elizabeth Harding (Bessie),
youngest daughter of Catherine and the late T. D.
Phillips, of Billeroo station, aged 14 years and 10
months.
HILL.—On the 21st May, at Fullarton, Mr. Wil-
liam Hill, of Wattlebury-road, Lower Miicham,
the beloved father of Wm. and H. J. Hill, of
Norwood, aged 88 years. Arrived in the colony

FOORD.—On the 21st May, at the residence of
Mr. J. Hobbs, Lochiel Park, Campbelltown, Mary
Ann, relict of the late Mr. L. Foord, late of Fin-
don, aged 74 years.
GOODGER.—On the 5th May, at his daughter's
(Mrs. R. S. Brown's) residence, Findowie Station,
Nanango, Queensland, William Goodger, late of
Gawler River, South Australia, aged 71 years.
SPAVIN.—On the 15th May, at the Jamestown
Hospital, Isabella, the beloved wife of A. Spavin,
of Canowie Belt, and daughter of W. and B. Lyd-
don, Springton, aged 42 years. Deeply regretted.
BURFIELD.—On the 18th May, at Auburn, sud-
denly, Samuel Mitchell, dearly beloved husband of
Sarah Ann Burfield, aged 65 years, leaving a sor-
rowing family of 10 sons and 3 daughters. At rest.
DOWNER.—On the 22nd May, Elizabeth Flo-
rence, infant daughter of James Frederick and
Florence Way Downer, aged 3 weeks.
IN MEMORIAM.
STARK.—In loving memory of our dear father,
Charles August Stark, who died at his residence,
Orange Vale, Beetaloo, May 22, 1904. Gone, but

who departed this life at Stansbury, May 20, 1904,
