Kearsley Shire To
Get 3 Play Centres
rPHREE permanent play centres

will be established in Kearsley
Shire this year. Communist Councillor
Alan Opie, vice-president of the
Shire Council, said yesterday.
This was part of the Council's plan
to establish 21 play centres within
three years at a cost of £2,300.
At its last meeting the Council
gave £10 towards the cost of a
Christmas Play Centre at Kurri
Kurri. The president, Councillor W.
Varty, will convene a public meeting
to set up a committee to help
build this centre.
