• LACROSSE.
The annual meeting of the Knightsbrldge Club was
held on Friday evening at the Marryatvilie Hotel,
!Jt. H. F. Peaoock presiding over a fair representa
tion of members and intending members. The sec
retary's report and balance-sheet showed the club to
be in a sound position. It was decided to enter two
teamB to compete in the matahes of the South Aus
tralian Lacrosse Association in the ensuing season.
Mr Peacock, who has so long been president, will
not this year occupy such a prominenb position in the
club. The elections for officers for 1891 were as fol
lows :—President, Mr. John Henderson ; captain. Mr.
W. G. Auld ; vice-captain, Mr. A. W. England ; hon.
secretary and treasurer, Mr. IV. D. Henderson ; oom
mittee, the captain, vice-captain, secretary, and
Messrs. L. H. Wicksteed and H. R. Adamson; dele
gates to S.A.L.A., Messrs. VV. G. Auld, L. H. Wick
steed, and W. I) Henderson; auditors, Messrs. K.
L. Glyde and J. D. Renner.
