CRIME IN NEW SOUTH WALES.
TARRAGON HOTEL ARSON CASE.
SEVEN YEARS FOR FORGERY.
Sydney, February 23.
At the. Central Criminal Court to-day
John O'Neill and Adam Mutch, yester
day convicted of arson in connection with
the recent fire at the Tarragon Hotel,
were sentenced, Mutch to five years and
O'Neill to three years' penal servitude.
Gr. M. Warley, who pleaded guilty to
three charges of forgery and uttering, got
seven years' penal servitude. He had a
black record.
