AUSTRALIAN MAIL ARRANGE
MENTS.
LOXDOX, June 22.
Sir Graham Berry has communicated to
Mr. Cecil Raikes, the British Post
master-General, the proposal of the
Australian Governments in favor of
reverting to the arrangements by which
the mails left Adelaide on Saturdays
instead of as at present on Mondays.
Sir Graham Berry urges the Imperial
Government to agree to this change,
which he points out will, in meeting the
wialieB of the colonies, not Involve
inconvenience to the British Postal
Department.
