LADY MAWSON TO VISIT BAL
AKLAVA TO MORROW WEEK
President of the Mothers and Bab
ies' Health Association in South Aus
tralia is Lady Mawson, who will vis
it Balaklava on Friday, October 31,
when the local branch is, holding an
American afternoon in the Institute
lounge. In addition to Lady Mawson
the State secretary Miss Muriel Rich
ardson will speak. The function will
co-incide with the visit of the Asso
ciation Sister, whose duties at the
local clinic are growing each fort
night. , A greater appreciation by the
many mothers availing themselves of
the free service is evident, and the
voluntary contributions which go to
wards the administrative expenses of
the branch, have lately shown a mark
ed improvement.
Office holders in the local branch
at present are: president, Mrs. W. H.
