AUNT MARY'S
BAKING POWDER
Trachmen Impressed by
By Eclipse
Gateman s Smart Gallops
Weather has not favored trainers this week, and they have
had to work their charges on sloppy tracks. Conditions are not
likely to have improved iti the week end, so none will be at a dis
advantage.
At Caulfield our trackman
was impressed with Gateman's
four in 52 on Tuesday, which
he followed up by running in
side evens for five. yesterday.
El Faloos, too, has gone well
on each day, and his three in
39 '/4 yesterday was good.
River Hero has not raced for
some time. He comes up well
fresh, and his two sprint! -show
him to be doing well. St.
Razzle did not' go fast, but that
is not unusual.
Heather Rose, who does not
dislike the wet, bowled along
nicely over seven in 1:35V4.
Flcmineton has had a lot
of rain, even the big sand
being holding. Most horses
engaged to-morrow did only
useful work yesterday, but
Delhi dashed over two . in
2654 and Variation took 3854
for three.
A poor barrier position in the
last race may not worry Good

goes poorly in the wet, went six
in 1.23 and two in 2854.

Phoibos ls pretty well at his
.top again, as his three in 39
with Tea Cake at Mentone
showed. Dholden ran four In
52, which time was equalled by
Lithesome.
After her good race last
jyeck Saxony was not pushed
out to run six in 1.25, which,
in point of time, was a long
way behind Reperio's 1,18,
Gayness ran a mile in 1.48.
