Control

decision to transfer the rail
way Newport power house to
S.E.C. ownership and recent

trains, was denied last nignt

Cabinet's approval of the
principle of tlie transfer would

tween the two power stations,
he said.
It would facilitate a switch
over from one power house to
another when one was over
loaded.
The combination would make
for greater efficiency . and
economy. ,
The move was simply a mat-

der the control of one
authority.
