As dancers entered the stately Bruns

impressed by the sole decoration which
had been arranged on the centre of
the stage behind the orchestra — a large
and brightly illuminated Red Cross. It
was an appropriate form of adornment,
as the bail had been arranged by the

of nosegay- shaded heavy satin, with
a full skirt falling into a short train,
and over her shoulders was a full
length silver fox cape.
The superintendent (Mrs. B. J.
Warr) received the guests wearing an
atatractive frock of black chantllly lace
over taffetas, the skirt of which was
finished with large bows of pottery pink
stiffened satin. She was assisted 'by
her daughter, Miss Mildred Warr, who
was an attractive figure in her picture
gown of primula pink marquisette; the
assistant superintendent (Mrs. S.
McKfee), and the secretary (Miss L.
Tabatznick) .-
