OUT FOR SEASON
Injuries Hit Fitzroy
Fitroy centre halt-forward Don Hart and half-back Bob Roberts
will not play this season. Hart is to have a cartilage operation
as soon as possible and Roberts will have deep-ray treatment on
his knee for at least three months.
Both have been examined by a specialist, who does ' not
think Robdrts has a cartilage trouble, as at first thought.
Ray Donnellan has had' his
appendix removed, and, will not
be available for two months.
However, Vic. Chanter (knuckle
soreness), Noel Jarvis (poisoned
feet) and Vin Williams (pneu
monia) resumed last night/ -
Norm Johnstone is hi! Ade
laide/and is not expected back
until Easter.
