Carnival at Olympic Park To
night.
wheelmen, both professional and amateur,
havo responded , well for tho bcncilt carnival, tu
be staged to-night at Olympic Park, to aid the
widow and children of tho late Harold Jamie-
son. Entries for tho professional events num
ber 91, and for the amateurs 81.
For tha first time jn many years, tandem
racing will be extensively featured, and an ori
ginal event will be the landem family pursuit
race, arranged by Mr. W. J. Harrod, In which
the competitors will lie Chris, and Lindsay
\V heeler, I assy and Wally Johnson. Roy and
Don Galrti, Jack and Jim Barry, V, and li
hwi-eting, N. and P. Cllnnlck. A. and W,
McNatig'lUon, and Norm, and Charley Lntiglev.
The distance will bo two miles. .
Tho professional tandem teams will b©-W.
Morltz (S.A.) and N. Belize), A. Price and
a. Clinton, F. Thomas and K. Martin, T. Fitz
gerald and J. Mlddlctnn, H. Vcilch and II.
Woolrlch, N. and M. Lloyd, 8. and K. Bcck-
house, who will compete In a two miles scratch
race.
Another tandem event will be the establishing
ol a bulf-inlle record ny Mrs. Valda Unthani;
and MIhh Davla Martin,
Supporting items win bo amateur and profes
sional handicaps and scratch races, and a pro
fessional club's championship, with two riders
nominated by each club.
