OF ELECTRICITY.
Owing to the war conditions nnd the
depicted staff occasioned by enlistments lcr
active service in the Commonwealth de
fence forces, the Council of the City of
Brunswick is obliged to curtail some of
the services previously rendered, and has
decided that from the beginning of the
financial year commencing October 1, 1941,
the practice of sending outdoor Collectors
to collect electric supply accounts will be
disccontinued. and consumers thereafter
must pay their accounts at the Council's
Office, the hours of public attendance being
as follows:— . . ,
MONDAY to FRIDAY. 8.45 a.m. till 4.10
Accounts will continue to. be rendered
monthly, and MUST be paid within 14
days after, presentation otherwise the
supply will be discontinued. Consumers are
asked to help the council in its policy ol
prompt payment.
Cheques and remittances by post should
be made payable to the Town Clerk, Bruns
wick. and meter dockets should be for
warded with the payment.
