Footscray Confident.
Footscray players are awaiting the match
at Geelong with confidence. Although they
will miss Coolahan who, owing to an Injury
sustained Inst week, Is unavailable, the way
was mus paved for tho return of Ambrose
Palmer.
The latter, after an attack of influenza, has
trained well again this week, and will take
his usual position In the first ruck. Olli'vcr
also has suffered a heavy cold this week, and
Zimmerman and Miller have been receiving
attention for Injuries.
As Is usual with matches at Geelong, the
omergcnciei named will accompany the team.
Last night training was confined to sharp
bursts, with quick turns and handball the
main features, and amongst thoso who stood
out were Stanfleid and Evcndon.
After training the coach advised the players
not to alter their habits for the day. Those
who were taking the morning off, he said,
were not to lie in bed, while those who were
used to an early lunch were, not to wait for
the meal being supplied on the train. Players
