Mr. C. E. Moorhouse has been
appointed ... senior lecturer in
charge of the department of
electrical engineering at Mel
bourne -University in- 1947.
The University Council has
decided for the time being
not to fill .the chair of electrical
engineering. Mr. Moorhouse is
35 years of age. He attended Mel
bourne Grammar School, and
then entered the University ol
Melbourne, where he graduated
bachelor of mechanical engi
neering in 1933 and bachelor of
electrical engineering in 1934.
Mr.; Rudolf Himmer, whose ap-
pointmenfc as assistant manager
in Victoria "for the A.B.C. has
been announced by the general
manager (Mr. O. J. A. Moses),
will not be. taking up, his new
appointment until hlk return
from Adelaide, wheer he Is to re
lieve as acting managing for an
indefinite period. Mr. Himmer
leaves for Adelaide on Monday.
