REDDEN.— On the 14th August, at Balliang,
Mary, beloved wife of Thomas, and loving
mother of Mary (Mrs. R. E. Lynch, Maude)
and Cr. John P. Redden, aged 69 years.

124 Princes-street, Port Melbourne, George
Henry Reid, the loving father of George, Al-
bert, William, Ada (Mrs. Graham), Bertie,
Minnie, Claude, Norman and Jack, aged 84
years. At rest.
RICKARD. — On the 16th August, at his resi-
dence, 8 John-street, Malvern, Thomas
Rickard (late of Maryborough), beloved
husband of Mary Jane Rickard and loving
father of Joseph (deceased), William,
Almond (deceased), Samuel, Soloma,
Thomas (deceased) and Clarice (Mrs.
Love), aged 77 years. No flowers by request.
ROSS. — On the 15th August, at the Jessie
McPherson Hospital, Helen Barbara (Nel-
lie), of 53 Bloomfield-road, Ascot Vale, sec-
ond eldest daughter of the late Donald
Munro and Mary Ann Ross, loving sister of
Catherine (deceased), Harry (deceased),
Alick (deceased), Florence Munro, Annie
Douglas, Allan Munro, Donald Munro and
Wallace Gordon.
ROWAN. —On the 15th August, at St. Vin-
cent's Hospital, Alexander Lee Rowan, of
53 Lindhurst-street, Richmond, the beloved
husband of Bridget Rowan and loving
father of John, aged 47 years.

RUSSELL.— On the 15th August, at his resi-
dence, Taunton, 19 Riversdale-road, Haw-
thorn, William George, dearly loved husband
of Alice Russell, and father of Lucy (Mrs.
H. N. Bainbridge), aged 78 years. Passed
peacefully away. Private interment.
SHATWELL.— On the 15th August, at Child-
ren's Hospital, Walter Alfred, the dearly be-
loved son of Walter and Ellen Shatwell, of
68 Speight-street, Newport, and loving
brother of Naomi, Rosemary, Don, Leslie and
Ellen, aged 5 years.

St. Kilda, Minnie Alan, dearly beloved wife
of William James, and loved mother of

Annie, the dearly beloved wife of James
Smith, and loved mother of Leuline. Private-
ly interred Saturday, 15th August.
SWIRE. — On the 16th August, at her sister's
(Mrs. Stimson's) residence, 4 Moffitt-street,
South Yarra, Helena Honora Swire, the
dearly beloved daughter of the late Robert
and Ann Myers, of Camperdown, in her
68th year. Private interment. A patient
sufferer at rest. Remains at Harry Bright's
mortuary.
THOMPSON. — On the 15th August, the baby,
Kenneth Eric, darling and only child of
Eric and Evelyn Thompson, Market-road,
Werribee, age 11 months. Interred Werribee
Cemetery, Sunday, 16th August.

TUDDIN.— On the 15th August, at his resi-
dence, 30 Albion-street, South Yarra, John,
the beloved husband of Louisa Tuddin, and
loving father of William, Charlotte (Mrs.
Gregg), Clarence, John and Thelma (Mrs.
Guegan), aged 63 years.
TURVEY.— On the 11th August, at Yallourn,
John Edward, son of Mrs. Turvey (Black-
burn), father of Jack, Alan, Winnie and
Dorothy, brother of Ness (E. A. Graham),
Kath Procter, Ida Bower, Laura Bovill and
Eileen, aged 50 years.
WADE.— On the 16th August, at 60 Charles-
street, Footscray, David, husband of Fran-
ces Mary, father of George, Thomas, Cis,
and Grace, aged 87 years. At rest. No
mourning. Private funeral.
WALL. — On the 15th August (suddenly), at
his residence, 65 Westbrook-street, East
Kew, Herbert Brab, beloved husband of
Annie Langdon Wall, aged 65 years, late of
Wilby and Strathmerton.

Mont Albert-road, Surrey Hills, Helena Vic-
toria (Lena), daughter of late Alfred and
Annie Wheeler. At rest.

hospital, Francis Shepperd Whitelaw,
dearly loved friend of the Misses Kean, of
121 Grey-street, East Melbourne, and Mrs.
W. Thompson.
WILKINSON. — On the 14th August, at her sis-
ter's residence 20 Wright-street Clifton Hill,
suddenly, Beatrice, the beloved wife of
Harry, and dearly loved mother of Henry
(deceased), George Clifford (deceased )
