Activity in the Clubs.
October Is the month when practically all
clubs affiliated with the Victorian Amateur
Swimming Association hold their annual
general meetings. Two clubs held enthusiastic
moeunga, wnicn augur wen ior u nuvuuoaiui
season. It Is anticipated that club racing will
commence on 1st November.
The most enthusiastic meeting for many
years wan held at the recently rebuilt Middle
Park baths. A small credit balance was
shown on the season's workings and a
start will bo made on a new club house next
week. It was docldort that a letter of con
gratulation be sent to the Mouth Melbourne
council for rebuilding the baths. Office-bearers

At the ninth annual goneral meeting of
Sandrlngham club the report showed that the
assets of tho club wero i;235, and the llabfll.
tics nil. A credit of £33 was disclosed on
the flcason's workings. Ten donors, headed
by Dr. Garnet Levy, have ench subscribed
£5 for tho erection of a new diving platform,
and work will begin on Its construction dur
ing the next fortnight. Officials olected were:

The annual meeting of Brunswick club was
held at the Brunswick baths, Election of

Mr. N. Ladner: committee. Messrs. IC. Cook,
