SHIP WITH TWO CAPTAINS.
Will Arrangements be Stable ? .
SENATOR COX DOUBTFUL.
SYDNEY.— Speaking at the luncheon of
Central Cumberland Agricultural Society
on Friday, Senator Cox said in thc new
Federal Cabinet were some good men, but
there were one or two who would not be
there at any pi-ice if lie had anything to do
with it. He supposed tliey. would all have
to put up with what the two parties had
agreed upon, and hope for the best. Hc
had his doubts whether thc - arrangement
would be stable. They had not heard the
last of Mr. Hughes, and if lie /remained in
Australia they might see him back in
charge of affairs. He had never hoard of
a ship with two ouptains that had been a
success, as there would always' be one
man whi would be "boss." That was .
what he admired about Mi. Hughe— for,- ,
he 'was always a leader. The reaton Mr.
