GOLD AT MILPARINKA.
—Age.
Twenty five tons of stone taken from House’s
Reward claim at Little Bendigo, in the Mil
parinka district, and crushed at Warratt’s by a
very old plant, yielded 122 oz of gold and 98
oz of amalgam. It is anticipated that it will
give altogether about 150 oz of pure gold, and
it is intended to bag the tailings and despatch
them to Adelaide for treatment, with a view
to ascertaining if any gold is lost by the local
battery. The opinion is freely expressed that
the field will turn out a second Coolgardie,
and considerable excitement prevails. Holders
of syndicate shares are reluctant to sell at any
