Castlemainc, 11 a.m.; in the Presbyterian church, near -the
. Diamond Store, Campbell's Creek, at 3 p.m. Minister, the
Rev. J as. Low. Tits Sabbath Scuool at Castlemaine
open at 3 p.m., and that at Campbell's Creek at 4 p m,
Weslbtan, At the chapel in Castlemaine; on Wesley Hit,
and Old Post Office Hill, Forest Creek; and on Campbell's'
Flat, at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. respectively; also, at Fryer's
Creek at 10| a.m. and 4 p.m. Minister, the Rev. W. F.
Wells, or an accredited local preacher.
Independent At the chapel in Barker-street, at 1! a.m. and

agency). The Sabbath Schools in connection with the Inde
pendent congregations commence, at Forest Creek and Camp

The County and Castlemaine Hospital
Is situated on the western side of Barker's Creek, nearly oppo
site the Clarendon Hotel, Kennedy street, where in cases of
ocaident or of such decided emergency as admit not of delay,
patients may obtain admission at any time. Tho rules of
Institution may be seen at the Hospital
The Police Court
Is situated In the Camp, and aits daily. Applications for sum
monses attended to at the conclusion of justice business
Magistrates; Thompson Graham Arnold, W F. Preehsw, J.P.,
Capt4 Bull, and other Commissioners of the Gold Fields.
Police constables are stationed in the Camp, also at the east-
em end of Moatyn-strcet and at Forest Creek
The Post Office
Is situated in the Camp, immediately over the bridge leading
from Castlemaine to the Camp. Business hours from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. A List of Unclaimed Letters lying in the Post
Office, Melbourne, may he inspected here. A corrected List
of the Castlemaine Unclaimed Letters it usually printed in
this journal

Is situated between the Poat-Offlce and the Gold Office.
Tho Resident Commissioner's Office
Is near the Guard-House la the centre of the Coup' Hours

For Births and Deaths, Is in the County Court House. Hours
from lo to 4. The Registrar, 'Mr Landon, it also the Com

The Deputy Sheriff's Office /
Is towards the southern extremity of the' Camp, near the bridge
leading into it from Campbell s Creek
TAe Survey Office
Is on the north of Mostyn-street side of Market<square; and the
Auction Room, in which the sales of the Public Lands of the
district i arc held, is in he. same building

Is also on tbo north side of Mostyn>street. Crown lands may be
selected; and the 3urverorGcneral'« Department, at Mel
bourne,, communicated with through this office; where also
