CASE WITHDRAWN ON JUSTICE'S
SUGGESTION.
At Camberwell Junction, where five
tram lines intersect,. it- is difficult for a
constable on point duty to indicate exactly
what his. signals mean. In Camberwell
court yesterday Henry/ John Bradshnw
was- charged with having disregarded a
constable's signal at that spot.
Bradshaw said he had misunderstood the
constable's signal. He thought it was a
Bignal to proceed, which he did slowly. .
At the request of Mr. . Bowley, J .P.,
chairman of-the bench, the case was with
drawn ' by the police. The chairman
said the corner was a very awkward one,
and defendant had evidently made an hon
