INSOLVENCY COURT.

In re James Summers. — This was an adjourned
.examination summons. Mr. C. E. C. 'l'aylor ap
peared for tbe assignee. Margaret Summers,
wife of the insolvent, being examined, deposed
that his money was banked 'in her name since
-November, 1SS1. She had £135 in tbe Bank oi
Australasia, that being the purchase money of the
hotel. Tbe hotel was bought with "the insolvent t
money. She did not reoeire any money on the
3Uth of September last, but since that received
£"250 on account of mortgage from Kogarty
and Boyle. Bid not know he received.
£1S7 on the 28th March last. It was not
correct that tho insolvent received £4011 13s.
4d. James Summers, the insolvent, on examina
tion, deposed he did not pay away £JS7 on the
2Sth of March. Bid not receive £400 lis. 4d. ,
from Fognrty and Boyle, and loso it, us stated in
last examination. Bid lose £250 which lie re
ceived ffoiii that firm about the end of Marxb. .
Lawrence Boyle, partner in the firm of Forarty
and Boyle, on examination deposed he paid the
insolvent £250 in March last. Receipt produced.
The examination then closed.

In the estate of Thomas Phillips Clemo3 and
Araarnn Leach, of Melbourne, clothiers ana .
outfitters, Mr. A. Gilmour, accountant, was ap
pointed trustee vice Mr. W. J. Ecroyd, docoased,;
on the motion of Messrs. Walters and Son, se
conded by Mr. R. M'Crindle. '
