Mr. Purcell'a Candidature.
EURO A. — Mr. F. G. Purcell, selected
Nationalist candidate, addressed a meeting
on baturday evening. The candidate said
he came out as a true economist, and w.n
as free as air, not tied to any party. The

was a member of the Farmers' Union, the
candidate reiterated that lie was a mem

street, and the latter wrote out his ticket,
and was again asked bo call for the mo ey.
Even if the non-payment debarred him,
the rules stated that every returned soldier
was entitled to free memhershio for two
years. He was in favor of absolute pre
ference to soldiers. It was a plank of ths
National Federation.
