this afternoon ot the Amateur Sports ground
Chief interest will ba centred on the Kust
Melbourne v. University contests. Both teams
have not yet .suffered defeat,, and with even
team there should be interesting racing, with
close finihbes. .
The -draw- and programme is as follows—
A Grade.— Hawthorn v. Carlton, Footscrav v-
Iianhoe. East 'Melbourne v. University, Coburg
v. Geelong Guild, Malvern v. Glen Huntly, Mel-
bourucv.. St.: Stephen's. No.;3, Programme: One
mile xvulk, .300. yards, - one mile run, weight
putt, 440 yards and long jump.
R Grade.— Last Melbourne v. itoreland- Metro
politan v. Esscndon, North Melbourne v- Univer
sity, St., .Stephen a v. Malvern. Footscray v. North
Richmond. No. 1 Programme: Discus throw-
320 yards hurdles, .880 yards, pole vault, 220
yards, one mile walk.
