INQUEST.
Mr. Candler held an inquest on Thursday
lost, at Mooroolbark, Lillydale, on the body
of Agnes Grieve, the wife of Walter Grieve,
overseer in charge of Mooroolbark. The
deceased was in her usual health on the 2Sth
ult. Whilo in the stockyard Walter Grieve
sent a boy up to the house to see the time,
and he returned quickly and said his mother
had fits. The deceased's husband ran up to
the bouse, and found her frothing at tbe
mouth. She had another fit, and gradually
sank and died in an honr. The medical evi
dence went to show that death had resulted
from sanguineous apoplexy, and a verdict to
that effect was returned.
