Mr. M. E. Green (Fitzroy) objected,
stating thnt his club had been in nego
tiation with Taylor for two years.
The committee decided to await the re
ceipt of the clearance from Ballarat. The
ease is likely to be reopened at a special
meeting of the committee to be held be
fore the League meets to-morrow evening.
