About People
The head teacher of Heath Hill
State school, Mr. Hultmark, has been
transferred to Brunswick South-
West, where he will become assistant
at this much larger institution of
learning. All wish him well, satislied
his progress will be certain.

After 37 years in the service of the
Railways Department, Mr. W. Deveney
has- retired from the position of
ganger in charge of the Pakenham
section of the Gippsland line. He
started with’ the Department at;
Maroona, and was afterwards sta-j
j tioned in turn at Narre Warren,'
I Underbool, Walhalla, Longwarry and
Drouin.

parted from Lang Lang oh a three
1 weeks' tour of Western Victoria.;

day, which he spent with his family at

presentation of crystal vases to Miss

Miss P. O’Brien, who are leaving
Lang Lang, where each has made
